Recent News: The 2020 Pulitzer Prize winners have been announced by its administrator, Dana Kennedy, in 15 journalistic categories and 7 Book, Drama, and Music categories via video-conference on May 4, 2020, at Columbia University in New York through the COVID-19 epidemic.
- Photojournalists from Jammu and Kashmir have been honored in the category of feature photography at the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for commendable work during the ongoing Closed in the region after the removal of Section 370 in August 2019.
- Three photojournalists from the Associated Press (AP) Mukhtar Khan, Yasin Dar and Channi Anand, along with the general public life of the valley, had also brought photographs of protesters and security forces to the world.
