Selection Process, DSSSB Jobs 2020

☛ The selection shall be made through One Tier and Two Tier examination scheme and Skill Test wherever applicable.

Admit Card Requirements for DSSSB 2020

☛ The centers for holding the examination will be in Delhi/ NCR only.
☛ The candidates must carry in original Aadhaar Card/ any other Govt. issued Identity proof to the examination center, failing which they shall not be allowed to appear for the examination.

Syllabus for DSSSB Exam:

☛ The Timing for Tier One Examination has to be 3 Hours for 300 Questions(Section 1 & 2)
☛ The Timing for Tier One Examination has to be 2 Hours for 200 Questions(Section 1 & 2)
☛ Two Tier examinations & Each Tier divided into Two Sections.
☛ Negative Marking will be applicable.

General Awareness: History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, National/International Organizations /Institutions etc. General Awareness of the the environment around him/her and its application to society. Current Events and of such matter of everyday observation as may be expected of an educated person

General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship, concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series etc. General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability includes questions of both verbal and non-verbal types

Arithmetical & Numerical Ability: Simplification, Decimals, Data Interpretation, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs etc.

Hindi Language & Comprehension and English Language & Comprehension: In addition to the testing of candidate’s understanding and comprehension of the English and Hindi Languages, questions on its Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, and its correct usage, etc. would also be covered.

Syllabus Process for Tier 1:

Section – A	1. Mental ability and reasoning ability, 2.General Awareness, 3. English Language & Comprehension, 4. Hindi Language& comprehension, 5. Numerical Aptitude & Data interpretation. (20 Marks each) : 100 Marks
Section – B	MCQs pertaining to Post-Graduation qualification and teaching methodology required for the post. (200 Questions): 200 Marks.

Syllabus Process for Tier 2:

Section – A	MCQs of one mark each as per the existing examination scheme 1. General Awareness, 2. General Intelligence & Reasoning ability, 3. Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, 4. Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension. (20 Marks each)
Section – B	MCQs of one mark each from the subject concerned including questions on teaching methodology/B.Ed. (100 Marks)
