| Dean/ Director | i) Master’s ·Degree in any subject in the concerned faculty of the college including basic sciences with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point. ii) Good academic record with a Ph.D. in any subject in that faculty of the concerned College. iii) A minimum of 15 years of experience m teaching/research/extension education/administration, of which 7 years in Pay Band-IV with at least three years as Professor or equivalent position. The experience should be relevant to the position concerned with administrative experience. iv) Experience of guiding students at Masters and Doctoral levels. v) Published work in the form of at least 0 scientific papers and journals of repute with four and above NAAS rating. |
| Professor | i) Master’s degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point. ii) Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline iii) A minimum of ten years experience in teaching/research/extension, of which at least 3 years should be as Associate Professor or equivalent in Pay Band-4. iv) Published work in the form of at least 10 scientific papers in journals of repute with four and above NAAS rating. v) Evidence of providing scientific leadership including handling of externally funded Research projects. |
| Associate professor/ Sr. Scientist & Head/ Dy. Director of Extension Education | i) Master’s degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point. ii) Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline iii) A minimum of eight years experience of teaching/research/extension education as Assistant Professor or equivalent position. However, in the case of Engineering disciplines, a minimum of six years of experience in relevant post & scale shall be considered. iv) Contribution in research/teaching/extension education as evidenced by published Work/innovations and outcome. v) Published work in the form of at least 5 scientific papers in journals of repute with four and above NAAS rating. |
