RRB NTPC Syllabus & Exam Pattern | 2019

Railway Recruitment Board has released a job notification for many posts that are Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC), Para Medical Staff, Ministerial & Isolated Categories & Level- I posts. The RRB NTPC Recruitment 2019 is associated for 130000 posts. The details for RRB NTPC Prelims & Mains Syllabus is given below.

रेलवे भर्ती बोर्ड ने गैर-तकनीकी लोकप्रिय श्रेणियाँ (NTPC), पैरा मेडिकल स्टाफ, मंत्रिस्तरीय और पृथक श्रेणियाँ और स्तर- I पदों के लिए कई पदों को जारी किया है। आरआरबी एनटीपीसी भर्ती 2019, 130000 पदों से संबद्ध है। आरआरबी एनटीपीसी प्रीलिम्स एंड मेन्स सिलेबस का विवरण नीचे दिया गया है।

Syllabus

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2019:

  • In NTPC Exam there will be 100 objective questions, which will be solved in 90 minutes.
  • There will be also negative marking for wrong answers.
  • For each wrong answer, there will be 1/3rd allocated to that question will be deducted
  • There will be a total of 100 questions for Arithmetic, Reasoning ability, General Intelligence, General Science & General Awareness.
  • एनटीपीसी परीक्षा में 100 वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रश्न होंगे, जिन्हें 90 मिनट में हल करना होगा।
  • गलत उत्तरों के लिए नकारात्मक अंकन भी होगा।
  • प्रत्येक गलत उत्तर के लिए, 1 / 3rd आवंटित किया जाएगा उस प्रश्न को काट दिया जाएगा
  • अंकगणित, रीजनिंग क्षमता, जनरल इंटेलिजेंस, जनरल साइंस एंड जनरल अवेयरनेस के लिए कुल 100 प्रश्न होंगे।

Passing Marks Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories: UR-40%, EWS-40%, OBC (Non creamy layer) -30%, SC-30%, ST-25%.

These percentages of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.


RRB NTPC Jobs 2019 2nd CBT details:

  • Shortlisting of Candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them in 1st Stage CBT and the options for various posts exercised by them keeping in view the educational qualification of the candidate i.e. 10+2 or
  • Graduate. Total no. of candidates to be shortlisted shall be 20 times the community wise vacancies of posts notified against the RRB as per their merit in 1st Stage CBT cum choice of posts.
  • However, Railways reserve the right to increase/ decrease this limit in total or for any specific category(s) as required to ensure the availability of adequate candidates for all the notified posts.

Minimum passing Marks in 2nd CBT:

Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories: UR-40%, EWS- 40%, OBC (Non creamy layer)-30%, SC-30%, ST-25%. These percentages of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.

The normalized marks scored by the candidate in the 2nd stage CBT shall be used for short listing the candidates for document verification for the posts which do not have Typing Skill Test/ Computer-based Aptitude Test.

For the posts having Typing Skill Test/ Computer-based Aptitude Test, the normalized marks scored by the candidate in the 2nd stage CBT shall be used for shortlisting the candidates for Typing Skill Test/ Computer-based Aptitude Test.

RRB NTPC Jobs 2019 Typing Skill Test (TST):

For the posts, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Time Keeper, Typing Skill Test (TST) of qualifying nature (marks obtained in typing skill the test shall not be added for making merit) shall be conducted for which the number of candidates equal to eight times the number of vacancies for each of the community shall be called for The candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.
